Here are some tips to get you going:
- Eat a healthy, balanced diet. You know the basics—eat of fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains while keeping the sugar, carbs and fat to a minimum. Eating right will help you keep your legs slim and it will provide you with the nutrients and energy you need to exercise.
- Maintain some variety in your workout routine. Changing up your exercise pattern reduces boredom, but it also gives you the opportunity to target different muscles in your legs. Instead of sticking to the treadmill, shake things up by taking a yoga class, lifting weights, swimming, trying the kettle ball, jumping rope, or walking with friends in your neighborhood.
- Avoid tanning beds and sun exposure. You may associate sexy legs with a sun-kissed glow, but sexy legs are healthy legs, and tanning beds and too much sun exposure are NOT healthy.
