Restylane® and Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® and Restylane® Lyft are both dermal fillers designed to reduce wrinkles and add volume to create a rejuvenated and refreshed appearance. With different formulations of both, these facial fillers can serve different purposes, but are all part of a larger family of facial fillers. Both Restylane and Restylane Lyft can have amazing effects on fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, surgical scars, and on undefined lips. Since Restylane and Restylane Lyft offer different formulations, and often treat different signs of aging, even deeper lines and wrinkles can be treated with these injections. Like JUVÉDERM, Restylane and Restylane Lyft are both developed from a natural substance and can offer a very natural look and feel. While Dr. Matthew Malamet uses both Restylane and Restylane Lyft to treat signs of aging, he also often combines these injections with more invasive procedures to produce the very best results.

The Restylane & Restylane Lyft Procedure

Restylane or Restylane Lyft injections begin with an examination of the face to determine which formula will produce the best results. Once the areas in need of correction are identified and a proper formulation is selected, Dr. Malamet carefully injects the chosen filler into carefully chosen areas of the face. Both Restylane and Restylane Lyft will smooth moderate to severe wrinkles, and the results can last up to 6 months.

Restylane & Restylane Lyft Results

The results of both Restylane and Restylane Lyft will be immediately visible following the procedure but will improve over time as the Facial Filler softens and begins to settle into place. The full results will be visible after the first couple weeks, and fine lines, wrinkles, and hollowing will all fade over time. The results from Restylane and Restylane Lyft are temporary, so additional treatments will be necessary to maintain the youthful results.

If you would like to learn more about these facial fillers and whether they would be the best option to treat your fine lines and wrinkles, schedule a consultation with Dr. Matthew Malamet. He meets with each patient individually to address any questions or concerns that may come up prior to the actual procedure.
